These two books are not something I would normally read so it'll be a great opportunity to try a different genre and maybe even love it!

I want Middlesex because the plot is very interesting to me and I love the author's other work. Also would like the James Patterson novel because I've heard great things about the author and would love to give his books a try.

I've never read anything by Jeffery Eugenides, but the plot sounds good. I am a big James Patterson fan and know it will be great!

I would love to win them because I can never get through a hot new book--because I read every chance I get but working and 3 kids--means it takes me a while to get through a book--and our library only lets you keep new titles for two weeks--so I never get to finish a book :(
