Clover Hendry's Day Off has a lot of LOL moments if you are in a certain point in your life but it does tackle some serious issues as well. I've had Waxing On in my TBR audio queue since last year and I'm glad that I finally got around to listening. It's a refreshing look at The Karate Kid franchise and how Mr. Macchio has grown in his appreciation of it.

Honestly, I never go wrong with a Heather Webber novel. Her magical realism is on par with Sarah Addison Allen and that is high praise. Happy Place is by far my favorite Emily Henry book so far. I can't wait to read her new one out in 2024.
